How a doula can help
A doula offers grounded, continuous support – emotional, physical and practical. She helps you stay connected to your breath, your body and your inner rhythm throughout pregnancy and birth.
She walks alongside you through preparation, conversations with the maternity system and unexpected turns.
She is not there to direct, take control or impose a vision, but to ensure you are not alone in an experience that can feel intense, vulnerable and deeply personal.
As a doula I offer you a unique space where you can embrace gentleness, slowness and authenticity, a space where you can meet yourself with more awareness, instead of carrying other people’s fears, projections or expectations. This is a reflective space of depth and connection to you and your baby where you will be listened to without judgement and warmly held.
Support continues beyond birth, holding you through the early postpartum period with care, integration and community.
As a doula, I will uphold your birth vision and I will honour your birth experience, however it unfolds.
